Promotion of new master study program in Natural disaster risk management

On  April 02, 2019. at the  Faculty of Technical Sciences of the University  in  Pristina in Kosovska Mitrovica, the promotional event has taken place in order to promote the ongoing Erasmus+ project implemented at the Faculty.  The Rector, prof.dr Zdravko Vitošević, the Dean of FTN, prof.dr Nebojša Arsić, vice deans, professors and students have participated in the event.  Also, all directors of the high schools from North Kosovo* region were present, together with high school graduates and other interested citizens. On this event there was announced and promoted new study program for Master engineers for protection from natural disasters and fires, that is accredited within the NatRisk Erasmus+ project.  

NatRisk Erasmus + projekat is supported by  EACEA (Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency). Partners institutions from EU countries are  University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (Austria); Middlesex University Higher Education Corporation, London  (Great Britain); University of Messina, Messina (Italy); Óbuda University, Budapest (Hungary); Technical University of Crete, Chania (Greece). Project partners from Western Balkans are University in Banja Luka, University in Nis(project coordinator), University of Defence from Belgrade, University  in  Pristina in Kosovska Mitrovica, Criminalistic –Police academy and Technical College of Applied Science from Urosevac in Leposavic.

 
The participants have emphasized the significance of the education in the frame of Natural disaster risk management for the community and the employability of the future masters.
